Unhappy in job, work many hours, not paid overtime, commission lessened and the boss just complains that we aren’t proactive enough. Any one been in a situation like this where they like where they work but can’t stand the stress from the management – especially when your the top sale professional – what did you do?

Get another job!!!!
My husband was in a similar situation. He was always stressed, they wouldn’t give him a raise and he was one of the top reps there, constantly performaing over the top. So it’s best to move on. He did and now he’s less stressed with a more flexible schedule and the ability to make way more than he ever did there. Being unhappy can take away years of your life and make you appear older than you really are. It’s better to go where at least the stress is at a minimum, and try to find something that you can be passionate about as well as make good money. Doing what you love, adds youth to your life!
I hope everything works out for you! Wish you the best!
Find another job or change your mind set. If you let someone cause you stess it is your own fault. Of course sometimes things get to you but you just have to learn to say yeah wtg know what you mean and then let him go on and laugh. Tell him what he/she wants to hear so they go away and just do what you need to do. It is all a mind game you need to learn how to play so no stress bothers you. I remember when stress bothered me but now the only thing that works me hard is my will to do better.
Leave life’s to short
You will always have stress if you work in a sales environment, perhaps you should consider a change of career.
Quit and took a job with our top competitor! Still had much the same stress but atmosphere was a whole lot happier… and better pay too.
Leave.. but get another job first.. Be Proactive enough to get yourself a better job! see how the boss feels about proactivity then when his/her best sales professional has left…
There is more to life than being stressed at work.. go out there and find yourself something new and something more rewarding… you deserve it
If you are in sales, unfortunately everywhere you go you come across the same target orientated atmosphere. The only consolation is ,you may be lucky and have a helpful boss in stead of an *** hole.
Get another job. Now.
if i be in your shoe, i will quit as fast as possible
