In today competitive work environment, we all will face stress, we can’t avoid it. Even if you have the perfect job, stress will creep in, it is just a matter of time. You can not eliminate stress all together because they always exist. What you can do is learn how to manage them. So, it is wise if we can learn some stress management techniques. Today, stress is one of the top health problems in our society. Knowing how to manage your stress can be very beneficial to your overall health, success, and peace of mind. Here are some strategies and techniques to help you combat work stress:1. Misunderstanding and miscommunication are very common in today work environment. This can often wreak havoc between you and your coworkers and causing huge stress for everybody. So, learn to communicate effectively with your coworkers to reduce misunderstanding. If coworkers are causing you stress, ask yourself, “Why?” There is a good chance that the two of you aren’t really communicating. Put yourself in their shoes to better understand their point of view. Listen to their needs and see if they can be met. If you can satisfy their requirements, a source of conflict is removed and so is the stress associated with it. 2. Positive thinking. Able to think positively is a very powerful thing. It is easy to think negatively and starte poiting fingers to others when thing doesn’t go your way. If the going get tough in a work environment, try to keep your cool and maintain a positive thinking. This will allow you to solve the problem at hand and reduce the stress associated with the problem. 3. Avoid to become a workaholic, even if you are highly committed and dedicated to your work. Don’t lose yourself in your job because this can have a detrimental effect on your health and you can suffer from chronic stress. So, if you feel as if your job has become your whole life, take a step back and look at things in a more positive perspective. Remember that good health is more important than your work. Take care of your body by exercising regularly, eating nutritious foods, and getting enough sleep. While that sounds so simple, how often do we rush around on 4 hours of sleep, a coffee, and a donut all day long? 4. Do not try to be a perfectionist. This can cause BIG stress in your life. Accept that you and others are just human beings, we all do make mistakes. Don’t dwell on them, learn from the mistakes and move on. 6. Get organized. Organization can be a key factor for job stress relief. If your workplace is disorganized, it can also cause disorganization in your mind. Your thoughts may become scattered and you will be less likely to think on your feet effectively, causing even more stress. Learning how to manage your work stress may take some time and commitments but this is going to be well worth your effort. If you know how to manage your stress, you will find yourself to be a more happy person, more productive and above all more healthy. So, make sure you apply and use the stress management techniques that we have just shared with you. Do not waste them.

Ways to Reduce Your Stress (Vitamins and Stress Relief) Stress is the silent killer. The stress response is the natural stimulant in your body. An increase in your stress will cause your body to increase adrenaline output in your body, your heart pumps faster and sends blood through your body, your breathing rate is increased as well. Prolonged stress is very detrimental to your overall health and mental well being. Prolonged stress leads to heart disease, obesity, and insomnia. Studies show that 54% of Americans are concerned about the stress they have in their lives. A large number of children, teenagers, and college reports an increase in their stress over the past five years. Stress is a daily part of life every one, there is not a way to eliminate all the stress causing elements from our lives. There are ways to help counteract the harmful amounts of daily stress. Here are some suggestions. Exercise – Studies have shown that people who exercise at least three times a week is far happier and have less stress in their lives. Good cardiovascular exercise will allow the body to produce chemicals that help reduce the stress on your body. Exercise also helps people to better manage their weight, which is another major cause of stress in people’s lives. Healthy Diet – Avoid fatty foods will allow your body to function better. Stressfully eating fatty food increases the sugar in your blood stream which will increase high levels of stress causing agents. A balanced diet will reduce the stressful elements in your body, provide yourself with energy to deal with stress related problems that you face, and help your body to maintain a healthy lifestyle pattern. Something very simple to add a stress reducing diet is a good multivitamin. Multivitamins along with lots of B vitamins. Several studies have shown that B vitamins lower levels of stress. Many people, especially women, the urge to maintain a sufficient level of B vitamins in their system. A multivitamin is a fast and cost effective solution that provides your body with vitamins and minerals it requires. Enough Sleep – Lack of sleep is a leading cause of stress in people’s lives. Not able to sleep is causing a vicious cycle of stress. Too much stress can cause insomnia and other sleep disorders. Sleep disorders does not allow you to get enough rest at lower levels of stress, thus causing an increase in stress. Increase in stress then increase the intensity of the pain to sleep. Adequate sleep provides a large amount of stress relief on people’s lives. There are many techniques in sleep research and use, if you have trouble sleeping. However, it is important, if you are unable to solve your sleep issues on your own, to seek medical advice. Sleep disorders may be indicators of serious illness. Limit the use of stimulants – Limit your intake of sugar, caffeine or other stimulants. When your body experiences stress it releases adrenaline into your system. Stimulants will only increase the level of stress on your body. Stress can not be avoided in everyday life, but it can be managed. A change in diet, increasing exercise, getting some sleep, and adding a good multivitamin can do wonders to lower levels of stress.

I need some help coming up with a stress relief exercise of sorts (such as a punching bag, treadmill, shooting clay pigeons, doing 100,000 sit-ups) that would make use of her throwing tendencies in a safe and non damaging way to relieve stress. Throwing plates at the wall, for example, is not an option. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
