I have been in Plumbing for 1 year and 5 months. I am currently with the third company. I left the first one immediately after determining that 1/2 of co-workers were determined to run me out (also left for higher pay). Second company laid me off in favor of a more experienced mechanic who could bring more money in. Current company: I believe that they want me to go and at least one is tedious about his on going attempts to stress me out. The boss obviously is quite oblivious and not capable of really running his company. It IS running him. The company seems to be incorrectly staffed from a standpoint of (client demand:available experience) ratio. As in this company has made some very poor personnel decissions. I could report harassment but, believe that once anyone wants you out that they will not relent till you leave and that management will always tell staff to stop not realizing that they will not stop harassing-they will simply harass in different ways. I do not want to deal.

i have a 14 month old son and soon due to have another baby and my time management stinks there is never enough time in the day to do even the simplict things if i want a bath i have to have my son in the bathroom with me or i don’t get one. the washing is pileing up and it’s really stressing me out so if you could tell me how you manage maybe it will help me out. thank you.

Its only a week left to my final year exams. Which are REALLY important. And i have to do superbly well in them.
I did pretty well for my mid terms(top 60 out of 800) and so i slacked off a bit. Which i SHOULD NOT have done. And these finals are even more important!
So what can I do to manage my time better? Im supersupersuper stressed so i cant concentrate. Its a new struggle for me everyday. I’ve been living on coffee all these days and i feel like its taking a toll on my body. I keep crashing every 2-3 days too! Im so scared. I’ve only completed half my math and chemistry syllubus. And i havent done econs and i’ve barely started biology.
Everyones got great expectations out of me cause i did really well in our national exams last year,scoring the best possible. But i dont know why. This time its so difficult.
I NEED MAJOR HELP PLEASE! and some motivational stories would help too.

When do you have free time, or time that you can have as fun time (movies etc) and how can you chill in these times and not ponder or be stressed about what you have been planning to do etc?

Okay, Well I’ll be a Junior in High School Starting September 10th. I have a couple of questions. How can I manage the hours so I don’t get stressed out? Which classes should I do first for home work. How big is this course load? How long will the Home Work be a night? I’m not sure about how many Tests and Quizzes I will have a week. Can anyone give me an average of how many Tests and Quizzes? How difficult are the classes?

Every night I get around 4-7 houors of sleep.

I’ve just realised that I have a great problem with the way I manage my time. I’m always in a hurry and stressed because I’m always late. I think the problem is that I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I devote perhaps twice as much time as needed for the various tasks because I think I’m not doing them well enough. And I’m not just talking about my work-I work as a teacher for the first time actually-but about less serious matters as well. My appearance, for instance; I want everything to be perfect; head to toe. And I end up spending so much time that in the end I become reluctant to start getting ready for work because the whole thing is particularly tiring. Any advice as to how I can change that? Thanks!

I am a Nursing student, full time school and a new full time job. I have decided I could tape record myself studying and play it back while commuting to work (20-25 minutes). I am usually organized and good at managing time but this upcoming semester, I feel overwhelmed. I work on campus and decided I can go to the library to study for 2-3 hours after getting off work…but where do I put my boyfriend and family into my schedule? Exercise….eating (I don’t even know what to take with me for dinner!) The only time I am going to be home is before I leave for work and when I get back around 10 p.m. when it’s time for sleep. If anyone has ANY suggestions or ideas for me, please don’t hesitate to respond…I need all the help I can get right now. (Also, how do I not gain weight under all this stress!!??) See, I’m overwhelmed…..whew. Thank you.

Start by prioritizing your work load. Be aware of your limits – do not offer to take on more than you can handle. And equally important, remember self-care (get enough rest, exercise, eat right, hang out with friends/family, etc.) as this will help you manage stress. Good luck!
