OMG! Wouldn’t it be nice to tell your employer “I QUIT!” Not just telling them you quit, but driving off in your car with the widows rolled down, music blasting, and saying to yourself “That’s the last time I’m ever working for a paycheck again!” Quit Your Stressful Job!There’s nothing worse in a career to feel under-compensated, under-appreciated, and above all, under-paid. Can you relate? I know I can. I lost track of how many days I’ve woken up early in the morning, still half asleep, tired from the day before, and just pissed off at everyone and everything for the way my life was. You know what I mean! Not ’till that one moment, the one that made me say “That’s it!” did I actually decide on using that stress to do something beneficial for me and my family. I sat down in front of the PC and began the quest, the quest of finding a way out. Even though I was still frustrated with my career and with my life, I used that frustration to give me the drive to find a solution. And let’s be honest here, I know you’ve done and felt the same exact way (and probably still do). Not only that, but once I decided on looking for a solution via the internet, all the GARBAGE online about “working from home, make money online fast, fill out a few surveys and you’ll be able to quit your job”, had me even more pissed off than I started. I tried most of them to realize they were all B. S. . I asked myself “Now what? Where do I go in order to get out of this situation that was soon going to make me insane?” Fortunately, after numerous trial and error, I ran into something that was different.

Different how? They had did not hit me with the usual “Make Money Online Fast” B. S. that’s everywhere online. They had used normal life situations that I could relate to, a person to work along with that came from a similar situation as me, and an educational platform for complete computer novices like I was to learn how to realistically quit that career that was responsible for my stress, back problems, migraines, and Sleepless Nights. “Whew, what a relief!” I thought. “BUT that’s great and all, now how was I supposed to squeeze in a new career with the stress of my current career?” You know what? It was not that difficult. I used the passion I had to get the hell out of my job to get me making a profit from my new career. All that stress, aggravation, and worrying about debt, got me through the hard work of building my online business from home. Again, can you relate to this? Are you at that same point in your life that’s border-lining on INSANITY? I tell you what, I know exactly inasmuch just how you feel, I’ll give you an inside look as to what decision I made in regards to an online business. I know there’s a lot of crap online about having your own online business, BUT here’s what I found to be as legit as They had come. Click here to here from one of my partners now that this is my current career. Remember, not until you get so pissed off that you finally say, “That’s It, I’ve Had It With This BS”, you will never make a decision to make a change.

Massage is the application of pressure or the kneading of the body and is usually done to promote relaxation. Massage and pain relief are closely linked together due to the many types of massage available that promote pain relief. Each type has a different style, stroke, and even focus such as a body part or pressure point. A few of the famous types of massage are Shiatsu, Swedish, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. Shiatsu is a Japanese dry massage where in you are fully clothed. This makes use of applying pressure for a few seconds to specific points and parts of the body and is similar to the Chinese acupuncture. Swedish massage makes use of long stroking, rubbing, and kneading movements, using oil to help in lubrication and ease of movement. Reflexology is also known as foot massage and is again similar to the concept of acupuncture, where in pressure is applied to certain areas of the feet which correspond to certain organs of the body. For those who are always on their feet, reflexology massage and pain relief holds true for sore spots in their feet and legs. Lastly, Aromatherapy is similar to Swedish massage therapy with an added essential oil which is usually mixed with water and burned in an oil burner in order for the scent to evaporate. A few examples of these oils are lavender, peppermint, lemon, orange, and rosemary. The scent of the essential oil helps in calming, relaxing, and even decongesting the system.

The Loving Hands Institute likens massage to a sponge that has already absorbed liquid. They say that when a muscle is tight, it does not allow much blood to flow through it. When the muscle is massaged, it is kneaded, just like squeezing the sponge, in order to allow more blood to flow through it. The increase in blood flow allows for lower blood pressure and a more stable heart rate. This also results to a healthier immune system since allowing more blood through the body and its parts means allowing more vitamins and nutrients to be carried throughout the entire body. Pain relief is also achieved when more blood is allowed to flow through the muscles, hence allowing the release of muscle contraction. Aside from more blood flow, massage helps in relieving pain and lessening anxiety levels due to the release of oxytocin. This is a hormone that brings about feelings that promote contentment, calmness, and relaxation, throughout our being and our muscles. A massage also helps in lessening a depressive mood and stress since the experience itself is distressing as well as the release of oxytocin and other hormones that uplift our mood.

Massage and pain relief go together very well, not only to fight pain and soreness but also to achieve less anxiety levels, less depression and stress, lower blood pressure, more stable heart rate, better blood flow, and a healthier immune system. These are only a few highlights of the many benefits of getting a massage. A healthier life style and a more relaxed state is only the beginning of what a massage can do for you.

Signs You Need Stress Relief Many people believe that being stressed is something they need to learn to live with, but while it is partly true, the way you handle stress can affect your health. If you are a person with a lot of things that touch their lives, but you get upset and frazzled every day, it is not good for your body. However, you can be someone who can manage their stress before it gets out of control – even before you feel the stress in your body rise. Stress begins long before you feel it will take over your mind. Here are some signs of your stress may need to be controlled better. Relieve Stress When Your emotions are Out of Control stressed people tend to have two different emotional states – very happy and very upset. While this sounds like a generalization, think about the last time you had something serious happen to you. Although you may have felt like it was a normal occurrence, how you treat others? How you around your family? When something went wrong, you get angry or made you laugh it off?

For many people with high levels of stress, their emotions become difficult, if not impossible to control. If this happens, those around them can become tense, which only adds to the stress levels in the room. If you’re a person whose begun to see that you can’t control the way you interact with others or you’re suddenly crying for no reason, it may be time to find ways to get stress relief. Too Much Stress When Your Sleeping or Eating Patterns Have Changed For those people with a lot on their calendars, it can seem like sleeping less is the answer to getting that To Do list crossed off. In the short term, this can be a way to succeed, but if you find that you have troubles getting to sleep or you’re suddenly sleeping too much, this is a sign your body is under too much stress. You need to find a way to relieve that stress or else you may find yourself too run down to accomplish anything. Others cope with stress by changing the way they eat.

Stress eaters will tend to eat more in order to make themselves feel better, but this can lead to weight gain, which can cause more stress. Others find they can’t eat when they’re stressed and this is hard on the body as well. They might take in so few calories that they can not maintain their energy during the day, which is not helpful to their health. Feeling Stressful When You Aren’t Happy with Your Life If you wake up each day simply unhappy about your life and where it’s heading, it might be time to look at your stress levels. Chances are good that you can not control your stress in a meaningful and consistent way, which is making everything seem more terrible than it actually is. Instead of simply giving up or assuming that life is simply supposed to be this way, you will want to look into techniques for stress relief. In finding ways to deal with your stress, you can begin to see the bright side of your life again. Your health can suffer when you’re not happy, leading you to isolate yourself from your friends and family, which can only increase your levels of stress and anxiety. It’s a vicious cycle you need to stop before it becomes a way of life.

I am currently working a job where I received a write-up. I am in a management trainee program and I know that I am not going to stick with the company for a long period of time. I feel to ,being brutally honest, that my boss is biased against me and my boss constantly talks to me in a condescending manner, yells at me, and degrades me in front of the people I am supposed to manage. I am in a industry that is very customer service oriented and requires customers yelling at me and I also get yelled at when I try to seek answers to some of the questions I try to ask of management. I used to love my job but now I am so stressed out at work that unfortunately the stress I bring home and around my loved ones has had detrimental affects on my personal relationships (i.e my significant other, my family, and friends). This amongst other things has not only affected my perceptions on the job, but also has allowed me to develop a pessimistic outlook on my personal life.
I have the next three days off, but as much as I don’t want to quit for the sake of some of the people whom depend on me at work, I feel extremely uncomfortable at work where everyday I get more and more stressed. What should i do? I want to be professional and give two weeks notice, but with the amount of stress I get, I want to to leave today but also want to try to minimize the damage I cause. I feel as if I am trying to weigh the pro’s and con’s between whats best for me personally and whats best for me professionally.

I have been married for a little over two years. It was a short relationship before we got pregnant and bought a house together. Not too long before my daughters were born he started having severe anger issues and started abusing our dog and cat.
When the girls were born he was so horrible to them that I couldn’t trust him with them and I had to be the one to get up and take care of them 100% of the time. When I was afraid of him hurting them to the point that I couldn’t leave them alone with him I called my FIL for help. He justified the behavior, that my husband was under stress, etc.
Two years later, after promises to go to anger management and counseling that never happened (only agreed to after I told him I would divorce him if he didn’t) he is still abusive to our animals and our kids.
I can’t be with someone who is like this and I don’t want my kids growing up in that kind of household.
1. Should I suggest a trial separation for him to miss what he has or just tell him I’m done?
2. I plan on telling him that his anger issues and abusive behavior are the reasons for the split. Should I suggest he go to anger management or let him decide that on his own?
The first step in fixing a problem is acknowledging you have one. He doesn’t have a problem, I’m just over sensitive because I grew up in an abusive home.
Opinions please.
(btw, I meant the vows I took when I married him but no where in those vows did I promise to obey, be subservient, agree with everything he does or tolerate abusive behavior. When I became a mother I took on the biological vow to keep my children safe. I am the only one that can stand up for my kids and that comes before any promises I made – before God or not).

So I will complete my BBA in Management very soon and I have been biting my nails at what to do. I completely hate selling and retail. I want to be able to use my brain. Accounting has scared me away because of the burnout (My father, a CEO, died at age 47 because of stress).
I’ve been contemplating becoming a Math teacher, but in Texas, you must have 24 hours in Math -and- then the certificate itself.
I love how businesses function as a social structure but I hate the relentless profit hounding that retailers and food service tries to devour. I’ve considered going to grad school for my MBA and then a Ph.D., but I don’t have the credentials to go to anything better than Arlington (Sorry, I’m average, went through health hell with parents).
I’ve stared at the Occup Outlook enough to make you throw up.
I’m at a loss for what todo.

I am considering of quitting my job and move to another company and work with my x boss i liked working with.
Here’s the deal, I’ve been working for 1 1/2 years to my current job as a manager handling business processing for a Singaporean Insurance account. It is very intoxicating and it came to a point wherein I cannot come to work due to stress.
Lately, there has been a change with management and 2 people I now report to are very accommodating yet at times, talk at your back.
I bumped into my former boss with the previous company I’ve worked with, and he invited me to work for him. He is now a director of a research firm and he wants me to be his Operations Manager. Salary is a bit higher than my current and the pressure is not that much compared to my current work.
I passed all interviews and exams..even topped all of it. I have my last interview tomorrow afternoon. I am now having second thoughts. One is because it hurts to leave my work although I hated working with Singaporeans because they are so demanding unlike other nationalities.
If in case I will take this new job, I will be working hand in hand with British nationals.
Should I consider moving to this new work or should I stay considering I hate my clients yet I have good working relationship with my new superiors???
Please help. I have no one to turn to in terms of getting a realistic and sincere advice. Thanks in advance
