Why Does Massage Relief Stress?
Because the kneading or the environment?
I was only diagnosed 10 years ago and am 24 (well almost) now. I have always taken Chlonadine (not sure on correct spelling) I have not taken it for almost 3 years as i had The Tourette’s under control until recently a few Tics have re-occurred. Mainly some pretty violent Head Shaking which is causing me major headaches. The side affects to Chlonadine is Restless nights and drowsiness during the day which is one of the reasons i stopped, plus gaining control.
I was wondering if there any other medicines that have been tried a tested and been ssuccessful I have done some research, but not got anything ccom firmingit. I know if i just go to my doctor they will just put me on the the same stuff and write the prescription and not care in the world as they normally do for the whole 2 minutes i would be there. I want to be able to go to my doctor with some alternatives so he can actually try and help me.
I’m just so ticked off because I thought i had beaten Tourette’s and out grown it as i have heard some people have done, I know it is stress that has caused it and i do have quite stress fullll job, but cant afford to quit it.
Any help will be very gratefulll.
Just so you know i only suffer from a mild form of Tourette’s,i dont randomly swear at people in the street or make racist comments just suffer from tics and occasional anger lashouts is brought on by stress and tourettes (so i been told, i think i just need anger management sometimes, but i’m no doctor)
I work in a corporate role. I am more qualified than my boss both educationally and experience earned. I took this role by choice to reduce my previous stress levels which were attached to long hours in management roles. I notice that he has belittled the work of those working in my previous industry sector. He doesn’t ever come to chat with me at lunch, stays with the guys or talks to one other girl (in a junior position). I prepared a paper for him and he took it and updated it without my knowledge or without thanking me. When I asked if he had read it, he said ‘yeah, its very good’. The fact is, I’ve fixed many mistakes he had made over the last couple of years, and I was very sensitive about it. Is he jealous of me?
Much of it is polyurethane foams.
Stress relief products are so inexpensive when purchased overseas that few are made in America today.

i have a friend who i have known for about 6 years, and she is very respectful and givving, she has an extremely funny sence of humour and common sence , shes actually very wise for her age, but she is very differant to most people her age ( shes 17) and ive never asked her anything like this because i could be very wrong , but she does have insomnia cause it takes her hours to get to sleep, and she has sleep paralysis, wich scares the crap out of her and when shes alone at night she gets very paranoid and thinks theres ghosts around her, and she told me she thought she heard a ghost say somthing to her when she was in bed one night and she just pretended she was asleep, she has an over active mind and thinks waay to much, shes anti social and isolated and doesnt like to meet new people, although shes very pretty shes never had a boyfriend because of this , she doesnt always pick up on social ques, shes sufferd from depression and doesnt have much confidance, i wouldnt say she has a shot temper but she deffanantly has anger management and when she stresses out heaps she will smash things and start shaking, this doesnt always happen but i was just curious could this be a mental disorder? if so what do you think? also she values animals lives more then human lives (wich i understand) shes athiest and doesnt believe in sex till marriage , maybe she just has a very strong personality?? what do you think
I guess it’s different for everyone, but for me I always feel great when I get done working out and sweating. I’m just so pumped with endorphins after a workout I feel almost giddy and just a happier person.
Some people love to just beat the crap out of a bag and imagine it’s a person they want to get in the ring with, or someone that pissed them off that day.
A boy of mine loves to get in the ring with other fighters and just see how he fares up against them. He feels great when he gets out of the wring whether he wins or looses because he knows where he stands on his skills and what he has to work on.
For some just knowing they are staying active is a great stress relief.
It really just depends on the person.
Bought 6 year old gelding in 10/07 and moved him to new stable. After herd integration and 14 weeks after purchase, he had a colic episode. A simple impaction according to vet. Ran fecal which returned positive for minimal worms. Vet suggested switching from coastal bermuda hay to a timothy/alfalfa mix, administer 5-day Panacur, and look for another stable in which to board him. Those being the contributing factors along with my increasing his feed due to weight loss (now attributed to worms), weather and hay.
The present stable does is somewhat overgrazed (10 horses on about 10 acres with 2/acre pond). Other horses are not on same deworming schedule (8-week) and owner does not enforce, nor does she have proper manure management.
My horse exhibits stress by eating manure and eating wood which may attribute to colic.
My horse had colic again 2 weeks ago and vet says again to switch hay and move to a new facility — we do not know the colic episode. Could it be ulcer?
a friend of mine is getting the run around where we work, he got into some trouble a few days ago and now they tell him his job status is up in the air, they have continued to let him work while management discusses whether he will be fired or not, i thought a company had to suspend you while they investigated the incident and not let him continue to work and stress out over his job status, he asks them about his status and they won’t give him an answer, our company is located in iowa, please tell me there are some workers rights regarding this

Regular swearing at work can help boost team spirit among staff, allowing them to express better their feelings as well as develop social relationships, according to a study by researchers.
Yehuda Baruch, a professor of management at the University of East Anglia, and graduate Stuart Jenkins studied the use of profanity in the workplace and assessed its implications for managers.
They assessed that swearing would become more common as traditional taboos are broken down, but the key appeared to be knowing when such language was appropriate and when to turn to blind eye.
The pair said swearing in front of senior staff or customers should be seriously discouraged or banned, but in other circumstances it helped foster solidarity among employees and express frustration, stress or other feelings.
“Employees use swearing on a continuous basis, but not necessarily in a negative, abusive manner,” said Baruch, who works in the university’s business school in Norwich.
Banning swear words and reprimanding staff might represent strong leadership, but could remove key links between staff and impact on morale and motivation, he said.
“We hope that this study will serve not only to acknowledge the part that swearing plays in our work and our lives, but also to indicate that leaders sometimes need to ‘think differently’ and be open to intriguing ideas.
“Managers need to understand how their staff feel about swearing. The challenge is to master the ‘art’ of knowing when to turn a blind eye to communication that does not meet their own standards.”
The study, “Swearing at work and permissive leadership culture: when anti-social becomes social and incivility is acceptable”, is published in the latest issue of the Leadership and Organisational Development Journal.
