Need Help On Conquering Hypersomnia (excessive Sleeping)!?

Hello, I am a college freshman, and I am undergoing a lot of stress this semester.
I fall asleep in class, procrastinate, etc, and given the time, I can sleep for as long as sixteen hours straight.
Apart from time management, is there any way I can feel more alert and energetic?

See if you can get some bipolar stem cells.

LoL I sleep a lot too. When there is absolutely nothing to do. I’ve slept for 12 hours straight. I never slept 16 hours though.
Its because of stress and boredom. The only thing you can do is try to keep yourself busy by finding fun or interesting things to do. Or you can drug yourself up with energy drinks, but that isn’t good for you.

You don’t happen to have mono, do you?
It sounds like you could also be suffering from some depression…
In terms of alertness and energy, try staying away from tons of sugary/caffiene products, take time to relax and do things you enjoy, and make sure you keep a consistent bedtime routine.

try joining some school clubs, listening to upbeat music, find a passion that you enjoy, try not to be depressed and have and maintain negative thoughts. want to chat?
