Start by prioritizing your work load. Be aware of your limits – do not offer to take on more than you can handle. And equally important, remember self-care (get enough rest, exercise, eat right, hang out with friends/family, etc.) as this will help you manage stress. Good luck!

Seeing a big stack of paperwork in my In Box is very overwhelming. Try breaking your paperwork into smaller pieces and do one piece at a time. I might process receipts for 15 minutes, then complete a couple of applications, and then write some meeting notes.
I also recommend setting aside a specific time everyday to do some of your paperwork. Mark the time on your calendar as if you had an appointment, shut your door, and have someone else answer your phone. Make sure this is a time when you can work without interruptions.
I spend the first hour every morning inputting data into the computer and reading and responding to emails. If I wait until later in the day, it can take me several hours to respond to one email because of phone calls, drop-ins, and regular appointments.
The answer is simple: “too much means that you have to reduce the load”. Get someone to help you and don’t stress out. You’re not a machine and there are limits to what you can achieve. We all need some time to rest.
