I’m thinking about taking HRM in college. I haven’t started college yet. Is it true a person with a degree in HRM will get jobs that require them to work overtime? I don’t want to work overtime- just 8 hours a day would be good for me. Although I am slim- my chest tightens when I’m stressed and I should choose a career which wouldn’t put a strain on me. Could I just be an independent caterer with that degree? Which degree in college would most likely bring jobs with more flexible hours- nutrition or HRM?

Hotel Restaurant Management is an excellent field to go into. I would suggest sticking with that. A Nutritional Science degree will only get you so far…and with this economy, it’ll have you scrambling to find a job since the competition between those who have that degree is very high.
