Hi, Credit Card Users Could You Please Spare A Minute Or Two To Answer These Questions?

See, I have to interview an adult who uses a credit card for Finance class but I do not know anyone who does, if you use one could you please answer these questions?
1. What basic money management skills do you think teenagers should learn before they are independant?
2. Which credit mistakes do you believe are the most serious?
3. What do you see as the advantages of using credit cards?
4. What do you see as the disadvantages of using credit cards?
5. How are money issues a stress to adults?
6. What advice would you give young adults applying for their first credit card?
7. Why do many Americans overextend themselves financially with credit cards?
8. Do you believe credit is too easy for young adults to obtain? Why or why not?
9. Describe appropriate uses of credit cards for young adults.
10. What are the consequences of the abuse of credit cards?

  1. Use it if you know you can make a payment on it, and on time. Making a payment on it more than amount required to pay.
  2. When I sent in the check to pay for a monthly payment, it had been scan twice to pay for only one payment. I called the company, it ended up with the same person who in charge to the whole department. She said it’s nothing she couldn’t do for me. I ended up cancel that credit card, and lose about $ 700.00 total.
  3. It all about advantage unless you couldn’t come up with a payment on it.

  5. Couldn’t afford the bills,and needed more money to spend. Spend more than they made.
  6. Always look at everything in writing. Looking for a low interest. Asked someone who know more about finances, like mom or dad.

  8. Yes, very sad. When the baby is born in the hospital, the parent have to fill all the information for the baby in the hospital. One of my friends got a ton of flyers came to the house for her baby to fill in to apply for credit card. It was happened in the same way with the college kids who have no income.
  9. Tech books, and the thing they really need to have.
  10. Go to jail or credit ruining when they couldn’t make a payment to it. Spend the rest of their life try to pay off.
