That happened to me, but I was lucky and got laid off with a nice package.
Now I work at a state prison making $34k + a year. It’s by far the easiest job I’ve ever had. It’s also pretty safe, as long as you follow the rules. By the way, I was 47 when I started working at the prison.
Let me know if you need/want more info!

Banking is a good environment. Most banks take on people without banking experience too. And you get all thos holidays off. Just don’t be a teller. Try and be a loan processor. You have paperwork but you don’t have to deal with annoying people.

You need to start looking for a different job asap. Try careerbuilders.com, or Monster. Post your resume, that is the first thing you should do. Second you can even apply to work for companies that have tuition reimbursement. Once you’re in, you should attend an online campus, which would allow you to go to school for hours that are convenient for you right from your home! Pretty soon you could have a degree in the field that you want to work out of, and make a true change in your life. Good luck!

Create your own future. There’s a lot of self-employed, work-at-home opportunites out there, even if you start out part-time. With your background, you could do well. It’s a fact that the wealthiest people tend to be business owners. Let’s face it: job stands for Just Over Broke.
