i am 39 yrs old and have been in management for 16 yrs and is the only skill i have. i really dont like the stress and hours that go into it. i want to learn something new but that goes with making less while i learn a new trade. i cant really afford to make less so i feel stuck in a crappy job like everyone else. i want to enjoy life but i cant at this job i am always stressed…help me

That happened to me, but I was lucky and got laid off with a nice package.
Now I work at a state prison making $34k + a year. It’s by far the easiest job I’ve ever had. It’s also pretty safe, as long as you follow the rules. By the way, I was 47 when I started working at the prison.

Banking is a good environment. Most banks take on people without banking experience too. And you get all thos holidays off. Just don’t be a teller. Try and be a loan processor. You have paperwork but you don’t have to deal with annoying people.
You need to start looking for a different job asap. Try careerbuilders.com, or Monster. Post your resume, that is the first thing you should do. Second you can even apply to work for companies that have tuition reimbursement. Once you’re in, you should attend an online campus, which would allow you to go to school for hours that are convenient for you right from your home! Pretty soon you could have a degree in the field that you want to work out of, and make a true change in your life. Good luck!
