Do not use a tv or a computer you will see major issues along the line, what are they doing on the computer is what they want to watch effecting someone else on break, way too many HR issues waiting to happen there. I am currently working on re designing our break room too, thinking of using painting on our glass doors and colored chairs.

He sounds absurd. Men are completely clueless as to how much strain society sets on us. We slave, they get the easy road AND take all the credit/glory. Why is he making fun of you saying that you are lazy? Who got him into that criticizing mind set? If anything HE IS LAZY he can't even get HIS OWN glass of water. Oh it is too laborious to leave the couch. Poor baby. Sure you blew up, but there was a build up to that point. Also can you find a similar, better paying less stressful position at another place of employment? Screw your idiot boss, you two obviously don't respect each other anyway. Why torture yourself and stay? Maybe its time to move on. And.....Back to your husband, do you think he could possibly be cheating on you? His affection should not be forced and he should not be criticizing you if he truly loves you. Sounds like you need a life evaluation. No wonder you are so stressed.....

It is not the mantra itself that makes transcending effortless and with ease, it's the inherent inbuildt desire for more and more peace and happiness that makes the TM method effektive. So if NSR is based on this premis it works as well as TM does...

i worked at this place where i had to do a time report and account for every minute of every day and the boss complained constantly about everything even though it was obvious i was working hard ,
i mean practically running around my work area all day long pieces flying everywhere the machine turned up to 100 percent.
some places just work you to death and they don't care about anything but getting rich off of your backbreaking labor.
i worked there 11 years and it just got worse and worse , i mean after 11 years i was an expert at my job right. they still rode my butt all the time and i worked double shifts and ran every line in the whole factory
the last year there i had to figure my timesheet down to pieces per second. the fastest machines could make 6 pieces per second and i would be in charge of both ends and everything in between of like a 100 foot long machine.
i got sick of that place and quit , i still have nightmares about it , i have a new job thats about 100 times easier and pays about the same.

She's probably working hard because she knows you're capable. Just go with the flow and don't let her get to you, that's what bosses are.

This is common, and it often is used to quantify headcount needs. Be honest and don't embellish. She could be gathering info and ammo to gain headcount and give you help!

I'm a devoted fan of yoga & running. You can a achieve a "Runner's High" which is basically the flooding of endorphins into your system. Most aerobic exercises or intense prolonged physical activity can also do this. With yoga you can feel the physical benefits within days. The spiritual or mental benefits are also amazing "finding your center" might sound a bit cliche but it is none the less true.
I understand stress. I'm a third year Medical Resident in a metropolitan hospital. I've always had the "overachiever syndrome" from High School to College & continuing into Medical School. It's a condition where you just continue taking on more & more until you're overwhelmed. My best advice for that is setting boundaries for yourself. Manage your time. Make sure everyday that you have down time to do something you find relaxing or enjoyable. Exercise, a good book (or trashy novel), going out dancing, yoga for me, even sex (though i'm not condoning anything), I'm writing to you on yahoo answers during my down time-it's relaxing & fun for me. I also learned in college to be more in the moment. I stressed MORE about getting into Medical School my freshman year than I did my junior year. It's all about your attitude & perspective. I worked very hard to change mine.
Life CAN'T be all about the next step or goal. You must stop & smell the flowers. Seriously, go to the store & buy a bouquet of flowers-your mother will love you for it-just enjoy having the smell & color around you, enjoy the beauty of it. Working hard is so important to reaching your goals & dreams. But if you don't no how to relax & enjoy life your missing the point.
I completely understand,
Amia
